Royal Caribbean has announced that it will provide sailings out of Israel once it is allowed to do so, requiring all passengers and crew over 16 to be vaccinated.
Royal Caribbean plans to debut its newest ship, Odyssey of the Seas, in May. Israel is not providing vaccination appointments to residents 16 and under yet, according to the country’s Ministry of Health.
While attending a cruise may be a dream for some, the idea of getting vaccinated may provoke hesitance. Across the world, many have gotten vaccinated with various COVID-19 vaccines; however, these vaccines are all still in the experimental stage and have only been approved for emergency use.
