This week, early risers in Alberta and Saskatchewan most likely caught a bright shiny ball of light across the sky heading down to earth. University of Alberta professor, Dr. Chris Herd, said it was likely a meteor.
It is unclear where, and if, it made enough contact with the Earth. If it did, then there would be fragments to be found, which can obviously rake up high prices.
One Edmonton resident was lucky enough to witness the show on her way to work at 6am.
“I thought it was the end of the world. The whole sky lit up,” said Anastasiya Postnikova.
