Footballer Lyle Taylor, who plays for Nottingham Forest FC, is speaking out about the Black Lives Matter movement, calling it a “Marxist group”.
Taylor told LBC that he will not take a knee before matches anymore because he believes that the protest is no longer sufficient. He added that he feels sorry for white players because they are unable to take the knee without being “branded racist.”
The Premier League has launched its own anti-discrimination campaign called No Room For Racism which will feature a patch on players’ shirts.
