On Thursday, Prime Minister Trudeau announced that some of the self-employed Canadians who claimed the Canada Emergency Response Benefits (CERB) will not be asked to repay the money due to mixed-messaging by the CRA.

The government acknowledged that there was unclear messaging in the application, meaning that some Canadians will be able to keep up to $14,000 in CERB payments, despite being ineligible for the funds.
