The two approved vaccines in Canada, Pfizer and Moderna, are about 95 percent effective in protecting against symptoms of the virus. However, Moriarty says we must remain cautious and that we cannot let our guard down. She says there is still a lot to learn about whether vaccines will prevent the spread.
