Canada’s wonderland is opening its doors on May 14th according to its website announcement. The park said they will monitor provincial guidelines and work with industry and government officials to ensure the reopening plan meets all of the health and safety regulations.
“As far as we know, this is still pending. We’re planning to open on May 14th. That would be hearing the health and safety guidelines that are put in place by the government. It’s still up to them, they could pull the plug on us at any time. But as far as we know, yes, we are planning on opening May 14th,” Canada’s Wonderland security personnel told INN24 news.

The website reminds visitors that all 2020 season passes have been extended to the 2021 season, according to pass type. Unused 2020 park admission tickets are valid through September 6, 2021.
The visit to the park this year will be different. Whereas typically you would show up and purchase tickets at the booth and wait in an hour long lines, that won’t be the case any longer. Visitors must schedule their visits in advance on a mobile app or website before coming to the park.
Face coverings are required for guests two years and older. Health screenings and temperature checks will be required for everyone. Hand sanitizing stations have been added to the park. Use of location services will allow the park to send its visitors real time updates.
The park will open with limited capacity. The website also states that upon arrival, visitors need to provide information about the current health of family and friends coming along. Only contactless payment will be in place, so leave the cash at home folks!
