Amazon CEO, Dave Clark, wrote a letter to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris offering to help with vaccinating Americans.

In the letter, he wrote that Amazon is ready to assist in vaccinating 100 million Americans in the first 100 days of Biden’s administration.

“Amazon has over 800,000 employees in the United States, most of whom are essential workers who cannot work from home. The essential employees working at Amazon fulfillment centres, AWS data centres,  and Whole Foods Market stores across the country should receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the earliest appropriate time. We will assist them in that effort, “ wrote Clark.

Amazon has an agreement with a licensed third-party occupational health care provider to offer vaccines to employees on site. Since the start of the pandemic, the company’s employees have been deemed essential. The demand for online shopping has undoubtedly become popular and the main way consumers receive their products. In 2020, Amazon had its most profitable year ever.
