An open letter has been sent to five nation’s intelligence agencies, urging an investigation into claims that China promoted lockdowns worldwide to trigger an economic crash.

American lawyer, Michael Senger, is leading a group of lockdown skeptics — including lawyers, human rights activists, and a former US Air Force general — who believe that the Communist Party promoted nationwide shutdowns to cripple rival economies actively.

“We have identified issues of a potentially criminal nature and believe this investigation necessary to ensure the interests of the public have been properly represented by those promoting certain pandemic policies,” the letter stated.

In 2020, the first cases of the COVID-19 virus were reported to come from Wuhan, China, wet market. However, China doesn’t believe the wet market to be the outbreak’s ground zero but rather the source of a “superspreader” event. However, the US State Department believes it has new information that suggests the pandemic could have emerged from a Chinese laboratory.

The fragile trust between governments has caused a year of speculations and investigations on the virus’ origin. The global lockdowns advised by medical experts have been questioned for their effects on people and the economy since they began.

“Not only are lockdowns historically unprecedented in response to any previous epidemic in American history, but they are not so much as mentioned in recent guidance offered by the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention,”  Judge Stickman said in the letter to the FBI.
