[WATCH] Hundreds march for ‘Freedom for the Children’, a protest to fight sex trafficking

TORONTO, ON — On August 22, hundreds of community allies participated in the “Freedom for the Children” march, walking from Nathan Phillips Square to Queen’s Park to bring awareness to stop human trafficking and child exploitation.

The march was spearheaded by Toronto ambassadors Monica Gomez and Zark Fatah from Freedom of the Children Organization.

Freedom for the Children (freedomforthechildren.org) is a global, grassroots movement that was founded in Arizona to raise awareness of child exploitation and human trafficking. Today, the organization is active in 172 cities in the US and 47 cities in Canada.

The INN24 team spoke with the Freedom for the Children ambassadors, representatives from the Guardians of the Children (goctoronto.ca) as well as some supporters who shared their ideas, stories, and compassion for the global movement.
